When I ordered the Chill, I knew that the blade size was 8cm. Having a few folders around that size, I wasn't worried that it might be too small as an EDC that might have to "earn it's keep" one dark day, but when the Chill arrived, it definitely seemed tiny in the hand. Thinking I may have been duped by cloners, I quickly measured the vital stats and, sure enough, that's the dimensions. It's effing tiny. BUT! you know what? It is as well made as any other Kershaw I own (back to my first in 1980something) and the solidity of construction, and the feel in the hand, made it a reassuring prospect. The size, well that might just make it more "gentleman's" EDC, but the real kicker is that in 3 weeks I'm heading to South East Asia, with varying carry laws and Police attitudes, and the Chill certainly doesn't look like a Rambonater 3000. As packed luggage in my toiletries bag, it'll breeze through, and discreetly EDC around, it'll fly under the radar while still performing all I expect. The Chill is not what I expected, but it's sure won me over.
